Filter Levels Explained
CloakMaster offers 5 filter levels, each adding more detection checks. Higher levels catch more bots but may also flag some legitimate visitors.
Minimum
Only checks for known bot user agents. Use this for testing or when you need maximum traffic throughput and minimal filtering.
Low
Adds click fraud detection, network bot checks, and IP blacklist lookups. Good for native ads and low-risk platforms.
Medium
Adds session intelligence, spy tool detection, geo proxy checks, reverse DNS, and spy service detection. The sweet spot for most campaigns.
High (Recommended)
Enables ALL checks including community blacklist, residential proxy detection, TLS/JA3 fingerprinting, and ML bot scoring. Best for Facebook and Google Ads.
Paranoia
Everything in High plus: blocks unknown referrers and cloud/hosting IPs. Use this when you suspect heavy bot traffic or spy tool monitoring. May block some legitimate users.
